UFC research analyst and live statistics producer Michael Carroll and Mike Bohn for MMA Junkie compiled a list of UFC on ESPN 12 post-fight facts, briefly excerpted below.

Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker broke the lightweight record for total strikes landed (390), breaking by 2 the previous record of 388 set by Poirier vs. Max Holloway at UFC 236 last year.

Dustin Poirier:
•10th fighter in UFC history to earn 18 or more wins with the promotion.
•One of eight fighters in UFC history to earn 10 fight-night bonuses.
•First lightweight in UFC history to land 150 or more significant strikes in three separate fights.

Maurice Greene became the second fighter in UFC history to earn a submission victory by arm triangle from bottom; Aljamain Sterling is the only other.

Streaks broken:
•Kyle Daukaus (9 wins)
•Sean Woodson (7 wins)
•Julian Erosa (3 losses, and he won a 50 k PoTN bonus)

And UFC on ESPN 12 drew an announced attendance of zero for a live gate of $0.

Any other notable facts you know UG?

Because he didn't tap like Jesus. It's a KO not a submission.

I noticed a lot of old shit is ignored to make these events sound more “historic”. Vitor Belfort was also the youngest UFC champ but when Jones won the belt he became the youngest.

The more legit the sport becomes, the more these weird and specific stats will come out.
